Narayan Gopal Gurucharya (October 4, 1939 – December 5, 1990) was professionally known as Gopal Narayan. Additionally, N. Gopal was famous as a Nepali music singer and composer. Regarded as one of Nepal’s most important cultural icons, he is known in Nepal as the “Swar Samrat,” Emperor of Voice. He is also known as “Tragedy King” because of his songs about the tragedy.

Bhakta Raj Acharya

One of best-known singers of Nepal, Bhakta Raj was born in Dhankuta, Nepal and brought up in Kalimpong, India. Bhakta Raj Acharya has beautiful hymns or Bhajans sung in Nepali and is entitled as Nepal’s Bhajan Shiromani. Acharya’s career started in 2030 B.S. after he received a gold medal in Radio Nepal’s All Nepal Song Competition.

The career of Bhakta Raj spanned until 2046 B.S. He has recorded about 450 songs and written about 25-30 songs.
