The Nets released the statement, saying:
“The organization is currently notifying anyone who has had known contact with the players, including recent opponents, and is working closely with state and local health authorities on reporting.”
They further added, “All players and members of the Nets travel party are being asked to remain isolated, closely monitor their health and maintain constant communication with team medical staff. The health of our players and staff is of the highest priority to the organization and the team is doing everything within its power to ensure that those affected receive the best care possible.”

Will Nets Employees Will Be Testing for COVID-19 Virus?
It is not clear how many Nets workers were screened for the virus or how they were able to procure such samples, given that health authorities around the country were struggling to locate testing for the general public and for themselves.
Furthermore, the New York City health department issued a statement which states that it is, “Strongly recommends against testing persons with mild illness who can be safely managed at home, unless diagnosis may impact patient management.“
Three of the four players didn’t show signs of the disease, according to the Nets statement. Additionally, a Nets spokesman refused to include information about how the team tested the samples.
