The world is in lament in the loss of “So You Think You Can Dance” finalist, Danny Tidwell. In particular, the famous American dancer, Danny Tidwell died at the age of 35 on March 6th, 2020. Reportedly, the cause of his death is a car accident.

David Benaym, a news reporter as well as Danny’s husband broke the silence about this tragic event and sent a touching update on his Instagram. He wrote:
“I’m devastated that my Danny, the love of my life, my beloved friend, the artist, the talented angel, fierce mind, legendary dancer, my now late husband, Danny Tidwell died last night in a car crash while his friend was driving him home from work,“
On the other hand, Danny’s brother and fellow professional dancer, Travis Wall also shared an emotional tribute via Instagram, writing:
“Yesterday I lost a brother. And we all lost a gift,’ he wrote, along with a series of photos of Danny. ‘I’m not ready. But I never think I will be. Because I can’t believe this is real.“
He added:
“I can’t believe you’re gone. You were more than my brother. You were my inspiration. I idolized you growing up. Wanted to dance just like you. Wanted to be you!“

Well, there wasn’t any concrete information about Danny Tidwell’s death cause until his brother, Travis wall disclosed in his Instagram Stories that Danny died in a car crash.

In the loss of his brother, Travis emotionally wrote in his Instagram, saying:
“I can’t believe you’re gone. You were more than my brother. You were my inspiration. I idolized you growing up. Wanted to dance just like you. Wanted to be you!“
The Emmy award winner, Travis Wall continued,
“I wish I could jump in your arms again like we used to when we were kids and onstage dancing.“
Tributing him, Travis Wall added:
“We will all remember the joy and passion you brought to everyone you came in contact with through out your journey. A journey cut too short. ‘You are a legend. And I love you so much Danny. Rest In Peace my brother. ‘I can’t believe I’m even typing this. Please pray for my mom and my family during this difficult time.“

Danny was survived by his husband David Benaym. Additionally, David is suffering from heartbreaking grief, losing his partner in a car accident. With the strong heart, he thanked everyone and extended condolences to those who also loved his late husband and supported them.

“We were so lucky to have him, life was so challenging for him,” David continued. “But he was a warrior, and he came back standing, always. We loved each other so much, he was and always will be family. He made me the happiest for so many years, we were able to create so much together.“
Via same Instagram post, David also remembered about the achievements they achieved together. He wrote:
“He made me the happiest for so many years, we were able to create so much together, a book and a show, Moving Still, an amazing magazine adventure for 7 years, movement magazine, that made us so proud.“
Continuing to that, he added:
“He had such an impact on the dance world, life gave him so much to deal with from a young age. I will write more about you Danny, tell your story, continue your legacy, make sure that you are not forgotten, that you are celebrated. An angel with no wings you said you were, you were flying all along, and you’ll be our guardian angel from now on.“
At the end of his long, emotional tribute, Danny’s husband wrote:
“I love you, I’ll forever miss you. You’re now in peace, mon Danny, and I know you know how much you were loved. #dannytidwell“
