Katie Lee was born on September 14, 1981, in Huntington, West Virginia. She started cooking at age 4 with her grandma. She was raised in Milton, West Virginia. Lee used to follow her grandma to pick vegetables from her grandpa’s farm. The first-ever food she made herself was biscuits with her grandma. Lee studied journalism and food science at Miami University, in Oxford Ohio. Likewise, she graduated in 2003.

Katie Lee married her long-time boyfriend, Ryan Biegel on 1st September 2018. Ryan Biegel is a producer and actor. They had a subtle but intimate wedding held at Amalfi Coast, Lo Scoglio da Tommaso Hotel, and a restaurant in Italy. Only a few of their close friends and family attended the dreamy wedding.

Talking about Katie’s past affair. She was married to famous American singer, songwriter Billy Joel in 2004. Unfortunately, after six years of their marriage, they got divorced in June 2009.

After her divorce from Billy Joel. She dated American fashion designer Yigal Azrouel for almost a year in 2010. In 2013, she also dated famous Canadian American actor Will Arnet. Sadly, their relation didn’t even last for a year.

Lee got an amazing opportunity in 2006 to host the show Bravo’s Top Chef. Sadly, she was shortly replaced. However, Katie later made an appearance as a guest judge on Top Chef All-Stars.

Talking about her cookbooks, she has an interesting career with her books. Her first cookbook was The comfort table. While the second was The comfort table: Recipes for everyday occasions. It was released in 2009. In addition to that, she also penned the book Endless Summer Cookbook in 2015. Interestingly, she even published her first-ever novel “Groundswell” in June 2011.
