This week, however, has been a bit extra special since a lot of fan favorites are back in the music scene. From Drake to Justin Bieber and even Evanescence and Selena Gomez have new music out this week. So, let’s jump right into it, shall we?
Drake – Scary Hours 2
Drake is probably one of the busiest rappers in the industry who’s been consistently releasing new albums, EPs, mixtapes, and singles almost every year. And this year as he’s been teasing his fans about new music for so long.
However, Drake has finally released his EP, Scary Hours 2 this week. And he already has three new songs out. Drake released a new song with rapper Rick Ross called “Lemon Pepper Freestyle.” And another one with rapper Lil Baby called “Wants And Need”. And finally, he dropped a new music video for his song “What’s Next”. Drake is also releasing an album Certified Lover Boy this year.
Bruno Mars, Anderson Paak, Silk Sonic – Leave the Door Open.
It’s been a long while since we heard Bruno Mars’ voice. His last album was in 2016 and since then, the singer has been MIA. However, recently he took to social media announcing his collaboration with Lacoste with a new fashion collection.
But, days later, Mars has released new music with rapper Anderson Paak and Silk Sonic. And their music is just the therapy you need this week if you ask me.
Maroon 5 ft. Megan Thee Stallion – Beautiful Mistakes.
Maroon 5 hasn’t released a full-length studio album since 2017. However, they’ve been keeping their fans entertained with some memorable single for the last few years.
This year too, the band is back with a new single “Beautiful Mistakes”. But this time, one of this year’s hip-hop’s biggest names, Megan Thee Stallion joins them.
Evanescence – Better Without You.
It’s finally happening. After being absent from the music scene for four long years, Evanescence is finally back. The band is releasing a new album The Bitter Truth, in March 2021. And to prove the fact, the band has come up with a new music “Better Without You”.
DJ Snake and Selena Gomez – Selfish Love.
DJ Snake and Selena Gomez are the perfect pair you never knew you needed. And now, they have a song together called “Selfish Love”. the visuals for the song are a perfect DJ Snake style with a colorful background, as well as background dancers. But most importantly, Selena Gomez singing in Spanish.
Justin Bieber – Hold On.
The world was a sad place for the Beliebers after Justin Bieber took a break from music in 2019. Well, his reasons were valid and as he was newlywed, it was understandable. However, now, it is time to rejoice dear Beliebers as Justin is back in the music scene. And to announce it, he’s dropped a new music video for his single “Hold On”.
