Barca & Madrid lost ahead of Clasico!

The International Break diverted the pace of almost every club in the European League. A few unexpected games and results made this game week of club football awesome.

La Liga

Match week 6 went a bit surprising in Spanish Laliga. Real Madrid and Barcelona both lost on the same day with a margin of 1-0. This happened for the first time after 20 years. Cadiz scored an early goal away in Madrid making history with a maiden win. Similarly, Barca lost to Getafe after Frienkie De Jong conceded a penalty.

Match week 7 in La Liga has a fixture of Barcelona hosting Real Madrid, the El Clasico. Real Sociedad is leading the table with 11 points. Atletico Madrid is the only team unbeaten.

English Premier League

Tottenham vs West Ham

The comeback of West Ham United over Spurs was the most astonishing match of the game week 5 in the premier league. Heung-Min Son provided the lead to the host scoring on the very first minute. After that, Harry Kane scored twice to take the lead 3-0.

But, surprisingly West Ham bounced back from the 82nd minute when the defender Balbuena scored a header. They reduced the difference to 3-2 after Spurs’ Sanchez conceded an own goal. In the additional time, Manuel Lanzini netted from a set-piece to tie the game, 3-3. This is one of the epic comebacks that saved important 2 points.

Last-minute goal

Crystal palace shared a point with Brighton after a 1-1 draw. The 19th minute lead by the penalty from Zaha was dismantled by the 89th-minute score from Mac Allister (Brighton).

Similarly, Chelsea vs Southampton resulted in 3-3. Twice from Timo Werner lead was dispossessed from Ings and Adams in 43rd and 57th minute respectively. Havertz (Chelsea) again scored from the assist of Werner but Vestergaard’s header made the score 3-3.

Manchester United thrashed Newcastle making 1-4 on the board. Goals from Wan-Bissaka and Rashford in 89th and 95th minute respectively secured their comfortable win. All the five goals were from the Red Devils as Luke Shaw conceded an own goal at the starting of the match.

Although the score was 1-0, Manchester City again ruled over Arsenal in the Premier League. Raheem Sterling was only to touch the net. But, Pep vs Arteta was not that intense as everyone expected this time.
