In order to raise Walker, her mother married Charles Joseph Walker who is a newspaper advertising salesman.

Further, Walker grew up with her step-dad, Charles and mom, Madam in St. Louis, Missouri. As per educational qualification, she went to Knoxville College in Tennessee before entering the family business.

A’Lelia Walker’s Death and Legacy

A’Lelia Walker died due to Hypertension on August 17, 193. Matter of fact, the cause of her death was a cerebral hemorrhage. The same hypertension took the life of her mother in the year 1919. At the time of her death, she was enjoying lobster and champagne with friends in Long Branch, New Jersey. However, a heap of depression took place at that time which distorted her cerebral hemisphere leading to death.
