English Premier League surprise ahead of international break

English Premier League never fails to entertain its spectators. Game week four had plenty of exciting fixtures. Fantasy managers were excited to see their players performing in pitch, but things did not go as expected.

Also, deadline day is off for this transfer summer now. We got to see several due date dramas in the last hour. The Internet had flooded with that many rumours. Transfer reporters were claiming different ideas over a minute regarding the same saga.

Here are some of EPL’s latest matches, developments

Chelsea vs Crystal Palace 

Frank Lampard was busy transferring his players and rebuilding the squad this time. And, we can see the importance of newcomers early in this season. Chelsea thrashed 4-0 to the visitors. They dominated Crystal Palace from the very first minute, yet the first half did not meet the net.

Everton vs Brighton

Everton is leading the English Premier League table without dropping a single point till now. The most successive start for them since 1994, winning four out of four. They loaned Colombian playmaker James Rodrigues from Real Madrid on a two-year deal, which turned out to be a blissful decision. He scored two goals and assisted against Brighton. He now has four goals and three assists. Zidane faced criticism for not utilizing James in Madrid after his first super hit month on Everton.

23-years old Calvert-Lewin gave Everton the lead in the 16th minute, but Neal Maupay equalized in the 40th minute. Again, on the additional time of the first half, Mina strikes to take back the lead making the score 2-1.

Leeds United vs Manchester City

Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspur

Old Trafford witnessed a disgrace humiliation of 1-6 in the English Premier League on Sunday. Red devils had an early lead after Bruno Fernandes scored from the penalty spot, but after that, Spurs came with a huge-huge score sheet. Anthony Martial had to go off with a controversial red card for his violent conduct.

There are rumours following the replacement of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Man United manager, by Mauricio Pochettino, former Spurs manager, after this unexpected result.

With no fruitful negotiation with Borussia Dortmund for Jordan Sancho, Manchester United was heavily linked with Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele as an option. But, the talk ruled out as Man Utd wanted him only on a loan deal. Barcelona was asking for the permanent deal instead. They ended up signing Edinson Cavani from PSG on the deadline day. They also bought Brazilian left-back Alex Telles from Porto.

Aston Villa vs Liverpool

On the last match of the Premier League before the Internation break, the defending champions Liverpool conceded seven goals away from Anfield. Game week four became more chaotic when the two greatest clubs consecutively bearded humiliation. Watkins hattrick with an assist and Jack Grealish hattrick assists with two goals provided the hosts with the pace.

Ross Barkley and John McGinn collectively scored two goals for a historical finish. Mohamed Salah scored two consolations for the Reds. Jurgen Klopp’s side is in 5th position with two wins and two losses.

Transfer deadline updates

Barcelona failed to sign Memphis Depay as Ousmane Dembele to Man Utd talks collapsed. Talks with Manchester City for Central defender Eric Garcia collapsed due to transfer fees disagreement. Barcelona and PSG agreed on Brazilian midfielder Rafinha Alcantara. Jean Clair Todibo joined Benfica on two years loan and a buy option.

Arsenal signed Thomas Partey from Atletico Madrid and loaned Lucas Torreira from Arsenal.
