According to the reports, Halston dated James from January 2011 to December 2013. However, they never confirmed their relationship in front of the media and kept it pretty private. During an interview in 2013, when James asked about his relationship status, he told:
I appreciate the fans’ concerns, and I’ve been pretty open about my relationship, but I’ve got to tell you that this industry is kind of crazy. There is very little left to the imagination, very little of my personal life left, so right now, I can tell you that I’m happy. Halston is going to be a good friend of mine whether we’re together or not. But I do choose to refrain from answering that specifically right now.

Chord Overstreet

During the year 2014, Halston had attended the Lakers game with her Neighbors co-star, Zac Efron. Shortly after that, Chord parted his ways with Sage. The duo never talked about their relationship in the media. Neither they confirmed the actual reason for their split. After their separation, Chord dated Brooke Butler (2015) and Emma Watson (2018-19).
Seth MacFarlane
After her split with Chord Overstreet, Halston Sage began a beautiful relationship with her co-star from Orville, Seth MacFarlane. Her former boyfriend, MacFarlane is active on multi-fields as an actor, animator, filmmaker, comedian, and singer. He is widely recognized for his works in Family Guy, The Orville, American Dad!, and The Cleveland Show.

As per the reports from Daily Mail, MacFarlane was spotted on several occasions and events. The source also confirms that the couple used to go out for dinner together. However, they never officially confirmed their dating life. MacFarlane is currently 46, whereas, Halston is 26. The age gap between the former duo is 20 years.
The co-stars from The Orville, Sage played only in two seasons as Amber Kitan. On the other hand, Seth is still appearing in the TV series. Halston never disclosed the reason for leaving The Orville series. When she asked, she told:
I completely trust our writers and producers. I think everything happens for a reason.

Last but not the least, Halston Sage was in a relationship with the American singer, songwriter, and producer, Charlie Puth in 2018. While the rumors of their relationship were capturing a huge space on social media, Halston had confirmed dating Charlie with a picture on her Instagram.

While looking at her Instagram picture, Sage is sitting on Charlie’s lap at a restaurant. More fans started to speculate their relationship after Sage posted another photo with Charlie in a pool. In the picture, both of them are smiling with arms around, where Sage is kissing on Charlie’s cheek.
After their break up, Halston removed all the pictures from her Instagram profile. As per the sources, Charlie is currently single, whereas, Sage is dating Zac Efron.
