As per the reports of TMZ, the former Playmate, Ashley Mattingly died at the age of 33 due to suicide. Ashley’s sister, Christy, and twin Billy told TMZ that she took her own life at her home in Austin, Texas, leaving a suicidal note. Reportedly, the incident took place on April 15, 2020. The late Ashley is remembered as a Playboy’s Miss March of 2011.

Ashley’s twin brother also confirmed the news about the tragic death of her sister via his Facebook. In particular, he remembered his sister as a “rockstar” and “beauty queen.”

Similarly, Mattingly’s sister Christy Deweese also wrote, being emotional:

Because I can’t find the words to say I will just leave this here. I love you and will miss you every day. Fly high sister, I know you are the most gorgeous angel in heaven!

Cause Of Death: Killed Herself, Leaving A Suicidal Note

According to the various reports, Ashley was found unresponsive on April 17, 2020, by one of her friends. Immediately, her friend called the Austin Police Department for a health check after Ashley went radio silence.

Ashley left a suicidal note with her; which is being used as part of an investigation by police. Moreover, Ashley committed suicide at her home in Austin, Texas where she has been living for the past two years.

A spokesperson for the Office of the Travis County Medical Examiner said that any toxicology or autopsy into the official cause of death of Mattingly could take between 30 and 90 days.

Ashley was dealing with substance abuse. In particular, she had demons inside her, battling with alcohol abuse; however, she was working to get back on track with her life.

Her siblings said the state’s Safer at home order due to COVID-19 (Corona Virus) was getting tough for Ashley. Fighting with her loneliness, she had adopted a golden retriever puppy. After her death, the dog is not currently living with her family.
