Earth

Why is #trashtag Trending allover the Internet?

This is a globally known fact that the Earth is facing numerous problems day-in-day-out.

While half of the world is tackling the first and second world problems, the other half is facing third world problems.

But there is very little done when it comes to the actual world itself.

Earth, the planet we call home is suffering heavily, and as humans, all we’re doing is adding on to it.

Using plastics excessively and burning them, throwing away trash wherever we like and not care about recycle or reuse it.

Cutting out trees and vegetation, and more of these activities have led to the destruction of the environment.

Every year around 4.8-12.7 million tones of plastic enters the ocean hampering the lives of all the creatures that live underwater.

Global warming, the long-term rise in the average temperature of the Earth’s climate system is at its all-time high. This resulted in the melting of icebergs and glaciers all around the world.

The main reason why the earth is facing all these problems is mostly because of human beings and their selfishness.

There might be organizations around the world working to make the world a better and cleaner place. But a few thousand people is not enough to bring the change in the world with more than seven billion people.

But if we all join forces in making the earth a greener and cleaner place to live in, it might be possible.

And this is exactly what #trashtag is doing.
