Early Life

Johnny Deep was born on June 9, 1963 in Owensboro.

His father Johnny Deep II was a civil engineer and mother Betty Sue Palmer was a waitress.

His mother was already married before marrying his father and had two sons, Daniel and Debbie.

Additionally, Johnny Deep has one sister named Christy. At a very small age Johnny has passion towards music industry.

Johnny Deep’s mother is an Indian and father belonged to the tribe of the Cherokee.

As a result, at the age of fifteen, he had already changed several towns and dozens of homes.

In 1993, Johnny Deep married to a makeup artist Lori Anne Allison.

She was also the sister of one of the band members of ‘Rock City Angels’.

His wife and he supported each other in every work. But unfortunately the couple divorced after their marriage for two years.

Later, in 1986, he became engaged to an aspiring actress Sherilyn Fenn but never got chance to marry her.

Unfortunately, this relation also did not last for long. Johnny and his girlfriend ended up after some times.

After having an unbalanced love life, Johnny stayed in a long term relationship with French singer Vanessa Paradis.

Vanessa is mother of their two children, daughter Lily-Rose Melody Deep born on 1999 and John Christopher Deep III.

Love Life of Johnny and Amber

Johnny Deep met another future love interest on the set of a film while still publicly being involved with Paradis.

While filming The Rum Diary, he met his co-start Amber Heard. The pair were together for the first time in 2012, after Johnny Deep split with Paradis.

The couple shared their engagement rings on Christmas Eve in 2013 and tied the knot in February 2015.

Unfortunately, Amber Heard filed for divorce in May 2016.

And shortly afterward she also filed a restraining order, alleging Johnny Deep being verbally and physically abusive.

Johnny Deep and Amber Heard reached into a settlement that August, and the divorce took place in January 2017.

The actor is also involved in different charity shows.

His charity work includes ‘Actor Funds of America’ and extensive effort to raise funds for the ‘Children’s Hospice and Palliative Care Coalition’.

In 1994 he played in Benny and Joon 1993 romantic drama Ed Wood.

From 1995 to 2000, he played in different roles in movies like Don Juan DeMarco, Donnie Brasco, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, The Night Gate and Sleepy Hollow.

Controversies

In October 2017, Johnny Deep filed a $25 million lawsuit against his former business manager, claiming to mismanage $650 million of his earning from the previous two decades.

The following April, Johnny Deep was on the other end of a lawsuit, with two former personal security guards suing him for unpaid wages and exposure to dangerous working conditions.

After their divorce in 2017, Amber Heard penned an op-ed in December 2018 that described her experiences with domestic violence.

A few months later, Johnny Deep filed a $50 million defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife.

In July 2018, there was a report filed on Johnny Deep for allegedly hitting a location manager on the set of his upcoming film City of Lies.

According to the suit, the movie start grew irate when told that production ended for the day, at which point he twice forcefully punched the location manager.

As a result, the movie stopped from distribution a month before its schedule on September 7.
