Conor McGregor, the Notorious UFC fighter faced an embarrassing defeat at the hands of Dustin Poirier. The American MMA fighter Poirier won the rematch at Abu Dhabi’s Fight Island.
The Irishman faced the first-ever knockout of his career as Poirier sealed a technical knockout. This match marks the third time McGregor came out of his retirement. And it was the second time he was facing Dustin Poirier.
The two fighters came face to face back in 2014 where McGregor was a clear winner. However, despite all the immense hype, McGregor was knocked out under just 2 minutes 32 secs in round two.
Conor who ranks 4th on the UFC rankings now has to donate $500,000 to Poirier’s (#2) charity of choice.
After the loss, fans didn’t spare even a second to troll McGregor on social media. And as hurtful as it seems, these trolls are hilarious.
