4 Psychological Thriller Movies You Need To Watch ASAP

See, here’s the thing. I like movies that make me nervous and excited at the same time. Everyone has their own personal kick in life. Psychological thrillers, in particular, keep me on the edge of my seat.

Regardless of whether you dig psychological thrillers or want to change it up a bit, I’ve got you covered. I’ve made every effort to yield a list of the finest of the best films. And, before I begin, a word of caution: terrors are pretty nearly certain.

Fractured (2019)

A 2019 movie made by Brad Anderson tells the story of a man named Ray and his family of two who get in an accident that leaves his daughter’s hand dislocated and his wife, Monroe, with a concussion. After visiting the ER, he notices weird events. As the story develops, he suspects the hospital of withholding something when his wife and injured daughter mysteriously leave the emergency room. Believe me when I say that this thriller will make you anxious.

As a viewer, you’ll note that the film maintained a tight mood throughout. Nothing looked to be in place, even though it appeared to be. I believe it will make you suspicious.

The Perfection (2018)

This film appears to be about a cellist who is envious of another cellist on the surface. The budding musician is mentally brainwashed into chopping off her own hand by the former. Is it, however, the entirety of the film? To add to it, Charlotte, a troubled musical genius, and Lizzie, a new star student, join forces to embark on a perilous trip.

Personally, I believe that every time you think you’ve figured out the movie’s narrative, they throw you off! This isn’t your ordinary average thriller movie where a woman out for vengeance; there’s a lot more to it. In my opinion, it’s worth seeing since the two female protagonists were fantastic. I liked the subtle yet powerful feelings between them.

Come True (2020)

The film by Anthony Scott Burns is about a girl that ran away and is now living a difficult life. She ultimately takes part in sleep research, which escalates into a hellish journey into the depths of her mind. Viewers get to explore events with the main character through a scary examination of the power of dreams.

It isn’t reassuring to see the thriller receiving less attention because it has so many layers to peel back and many thoughts to explore. This film has really unpleasant feelings about it, with beautiful yet terrifying.

Silence & Darkness (2019)

This psychological thriller follows a three-person family, including sisters Anna and Beth and their father. The sisters are almost inseparable, working together on sign language and even singing wholesomely. Considering Anna’s blindness and Beth’s deafness, the family survives in peaceful seclusion because they reside in a quiet place.

The bond between the father and daughter is quite uncanny throughout the thriller film, in my opinion. Similarly, the father’s work environment outside the house is all distorted. All I can say is that it’s worth watching.
